Well that was tense! Who watched Dragons’ Den last night? Let’s take you back to the start…
On a hot Spring day Cam and Liz travelled to BBC studios in Manchester to do the most intense and nerve wracking pitch of their lives.
Following an 06:30am arrival at the studios, the duo spent time setting up their stand to make it as eye catching as possible for the five Dragons.
After several hours of waiting, the pair were invited into the Den to pitch after a tense few minutes waiting in the infamous lift.
Several hours of grilling under the hot studio lights, Cam and Liz pitched for their lives, showing their passion, determination and grit. After a near investment from Peter Jones, Tej Lalvani and Touker Souleyman both made investment offers which blew the Co Founders’ minds.
Following an intense ‘talk to the wall’ Liz negotiated with the Dragons but they stood firm. The gintrepreneurs showed their angst at being unable to choose a Dragon which resulted in both offering to share the investment. The dream result.
Cam and Liz were over the moon with this result, shaking the millionaire investors’ hands to secure the deal.
And the relief of the pitch being over with two businessmen invested in the company was clear on Liz & Cam’s faces as they celebrated in the lift.
