After lots of our lovely customers said they re-use their empty bottles and after you asked us to do something with them, we have up-cycled the bottles into the most beautiful looking and smelling candles!
The limited edition range is in partnership with candle gurus Compass Candles and the owner of the company Sam said this about the collab:
A collaboration with Collagin? It was a no brainer for us!
As soon as we saw the Collagin ladies on Dragons’ Den, and the Dragons weren’t keen on the idea of a candle, we knew they were missing a trick so had to get in touch with them ASAP!
We loved their pitch on the show and immediately knew that they would be great to work with, so after some messages back and forth and deciding on the scents for the bottles we managed to create some samples and got them shipped off within a week or so. The feedback was great from the off, both in person and through social media. The bottles looked great before we cut the tops off but believe that they look and smell even better now!
So after a wet, windy and snowy drive from Southampton to Oxford, to take the first batch to Cam a few weeks ago, we couldn’t have been happier with how the candles looked. The finish on the bottles is amazing and we are so happy with the scents - Rose and Gin & Tonic.
We look forward to continuing to work with Cam and Liz from Collagin and already have other products idea in mind, so watch this space!
